SEWING MACHINE maintenance WITH LESSON


$90 Session lasts 2 hours

Gain confidence and knowledge about your machine. Learn to disassemble, clean, oil, maintain, and troubleshoot common issues on your machine and practice basic sewing skills.

Please make sure to bring parts, especially a bobbin and the power cord & pedal. 

Issues involving computers and motors may not be addressed. If I cannot fix your machine, I will try to give you a referral and a lesson on a different machine in the studio.

The location for this service is in my 2nd floor walk-up space at 1756 W. Lunt Ave. If you require accessibility accommodations, I can try to make arrangements for us to meet in a public library or community space. For an additional fee, I can bring my tools to a home or office location. Please contact me below for requests.

MACHINE DROP-OFF With VIDEO REPORT


$75 Turn-around 5 days

Is something wrong with your machine and you are pressed for time? Drop off or deliver your machine and I will take care of it for you and provide some short video instructions regarding the repair.

Please make sure to bring parts, especially a bobbin and the power cord & pedal. 

Issues involving computers and motors may not be addressed. If I cannot fix the machine, there is a $10 basic charge and I will try to give you a referral. 

The location for drop-off service is 1756 W. Lunt Ave. This is a 2nd floor walk-up space and I can meet you or a delivery person at the street-level front door. For an additonal fee, I can bring my tools to a home or office location.

Group Sewing Machine LEARNING Lab


$50 per person (minimum 3 people) 2.5 hour session

Do you know a group of people who like to sew? 

Would you like to learn to disassemble, clean, oil, maintain, and troubleshoot common issues with your machines together? 

Please make sure to bring parts, especially a bobbin and the power cord & pedal. 

Issues involving computers and motors may not be addressed. If the machine cannot be fixed or if you want to borrow a machine for the class, there will be extra machines available. 

The usual location for this service is in my 2nd floor walk-up space at 1756 W. Lunt Ave. If you require accessibility accommodations, I can try to make arrangements for us to meet in a public library or community space. For an additional fee, I can bring my tools to a home or office location. Please contact me below for requests.
